Where is Mill Street, Medicine Hat ?

In 1920 my greatgrandmother travelled to Medicine Hat to visit her married daughter, Mrs Clarke (probably Elizabeth) living at 16 (then it could be a y or a g  - which I don't understand) Mill Street. I cannot find Mill Street in any street directory for that period. Does anyone know where Mill Street was and was the name changed ?

Thankyou Debbie. At least now I know Mill Street existed. There are very few residents given and the property numbers are much higher than 16 (whatever that letter is). I've tried page 79 but Mill Street's not on it - thought the lower numbers might have been on a previous page.
I've also tried putting in the surname Clarke but no-one of that name in Mill Street turned up.

No problem John I looked at it on Google Street and as you say not as it was nor is Seventh Ave..Looks like a lot of the area has been cleared. Thanks anyway

I thought you would, I still dont know what happened there. I tried to make out where it is in relation to the town centre as thats the only bit I know. Apart from the road in and out to Suffield. Spent many hours in the bars there when we had time off from training out on the prairie at BATUS. (british army training unit suffield).
