All names match my records, except for the spelling mistake on the name.

That may well be a transcription error. Have you taken a look at the original?

I did take a look at people in the same household, via the free index search on the 1911, and the name Ellen Morgan doesn't turn up, nor does it when I do the same on FindMyPast.

Does she appear on the original form?

Hi,

Looked at the original...transcription error on name, now corrected.

Ellen Morgan (nee "Foker") is on the census form, at the house next door (#21), (not sure why they were even linked), as she is listed on a separate page on her own.  This may be an error on the census but regardless it gives me the Toker family at last.

Thanks

Richard

Thanks Barryd,

She is also listed on Ancestry. Family Search is a great tool for general searches, the limitation being it does not provide "citations" to prove authenticity (unless you want to send for numerous CD's).

My problem had been that I could find no record of them after 1901 census.  This has now been solved through the proven transcription error of the name, in the 1911 census, from Toker to Foker.
I now have them tracked in the census and am in the process of putting together details of marriages and deaths etc.

If by this you mean that Family Search does not provide the source of the information, you can search their Library Page for the film number cited on the results page (in this case 2046485) which reveals that the records are from St Bede's Roman Catholic Church, South Shields.
