Stott, Leach, Butterworth

Trying to confirm the following:

James Stott married either Jane Leach on 12th August 1729 and/or Jane Butterworth on 21st November 1736 at St Chad, Rochdale.  They had a child James Stott christened on 20th November 1737 at St James, Milnrow (Rochdale).  Their abode was given as Cold Greave.

Would also like to know who James Stott's parents were.

Any ideas or advice please!

St Chads Rochdale,
25th of December 1707
James Stott son of James Stott

The name James Stott is quite common to the area,there are no futher details on either marriages to help you ,I would have thought it might have said widow for the suspected second marriage,
his age at death do you have that,
