RootsChat is meant for finding ancestors, rather than living relatives.
Personal details of any people known or thought to be living will be removed, in accordance with RootsChat policy, to avoid spamming and other abuses. So people here will be able to give you general tips and hints how to proceed, but not any concrete details.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Marriages for the dates you would be looking at are unavailable due to privacy laws & these people are assumed living.

Ennael in reply #2 has already given you an option to find out their possible married names that could be listed in Kathleen's & Bernard's death notices.
I suggest you follow through with that.

Hi

You can access part of the death notice for Bernard online but there is a fee to see the complete notice.

Using the link below enter McCardle in the search box, and select All Time for the period to search.

Unfortunately the entry may not be of help as whilst it names the daughters and sons-in-law, there don't appear to be any surnames.

If you have an idea of what school the eldest daughter might have attended before emigrating it might be worth checking FriendsReunited to see if she has joined.
