Awe, how sad that he was a casualty of the war...

I imagine you know this, Tony...but interesting for anyone who hasn't read it... Daniel ran a tavern for the Brunswick Land Company before he became a farmer...

According to a family tree entry Mary Anne married James Feeny 28th May 1857.
Perhaps this is them on the 1861 Census in Kingsclear, York, New Brunswick.  ???  But the age of the first child is well before the given marriage date  ??? Looks suspicious  ???

James Feeny 30  and Mary Feeny 25
John Feeny 7 Elanor Feeny 5 Sarah Feeny 5  and James Feeny 0

This looks like them in Kingsclear in 1871, albeit the age difference is greater. They have 4 more children.

James Feeny 50  Mary Ann Feeny 38
John Feeny 17  Ellen Feeny 15  Sarah Feeny 13  James Feeny 10
Mary Feeny 8  Patrick Feeny 6  Elizabeth Feeny 4  Emerline Feeny 2
