hello again.  Sorry, I was given no info other than he was a "proven charger" at the Heavy Brigade charge at Balaclava. However, I would appreciate any info you could supply. I know he is not my relative but I love history and find this era interesting. Thanks again.

1851 Census Nottingham also confirms Robert Franklin b.1819 Canterbury - ref. HO107 - 2133 - 648 - 4.
