George Hall, where is he in 1841? completed
« on: Wednesday 16 May 12 21:36 BST (UK) »
Hi,
Can anyone find this family in 1841?

George Hall born Bromsgrove Worcs C1794 or C1815 living in Yoxall in 1851. He is with wife Ann, children Martha (Marther) C1838, Thomas C1841, George C1848 and James C1850. All children born Yoxall.

I can find them on every other census except 1841.

I can find baptisms of George and James but not other two. I am starting to think this is a second marriage for Ann, so Martha and Thomas are from a previous marriage born with different surname (maybe Upton?)

Any help appreciated
Thanks Karen

Hi Karen,

Sorry can't pinpoint george in 1841 there are a few there that could be him.
I think you are right about the Martha and Thomas being from a first marriage Looking on free BMd looks like a Michael Upton died 1848.
Found a Martha's christening 1838 on Family search, parents Ann and michael.

Hi Alison

Thanks, it's certainly seems that George is not the father of Martha and Thomas- which is what I was hoping for! ;D
