Myles and Anna (Flannigan) McMahon early 1800's
« on: Thursday 17 May 12 02:43 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for advice on the best way to find my Myles and Anna McMahon.

What I know is as follows:
They had 3 sons who emigrated to the US about 1847.
John born June 16 1808
Myles born 1820
Edward (Ned) born August 1825

Anna's maiden name may or may not have been Flannigan.
There were other children who stayed in Ireland
They were Catholic
The surname became Mahan (or Mahon) in the US

The obituary for one of the sons says he was "born in County Limerick", another son was "born near Limerick".

Thank you so very much -
