Help! How do I post a photo?

I have checked the "How To" postings, but can't find how to post a photo onto a message...

I have an email from a relative that contains some photos, but if I select the image and "copy" then "paste" it into a message, nothing happens.

Can anyone give me instructions on how to do it - using non-technical words please!

Are you trying to post it on here or onto an email?
What you need to do first in any event is copy & paste to your PC.

Some boards do not permit the attachment of photos.  Where attachments are permitted, click on the "attach photo" button [below the message box].

Thanks Andrea, I've looked at that but it doesn't tell me how to "cut and paste" my photo into the "Message" box of a posting - the area where I'm typing these words now!

Not sure if this is what you mean - but providing you aren't trying to post the image on a 'Lookup' board where the upload is disabled due to copyright reasons, try following Bob's instructions which should hopefully help :

Ah, I see!  So I don't cit and paste, I click the "Attach Photo" text and choose the file...  I'll give it a go!  Many thanks!  Phil.
