John Thomas BASIN - emigrated to Canada ?

Hi there,
Just a quick note wondering if some kind soul can possibly help ?
I am looking for info a very distant relative of mine - John Thomas BASIN ( sometimes written Bason)

John was born in Alveley, Shropshire in 1888, the youngest child of Richard and Mary Ann Basin
I understand he may have married in 1911 ?? and then emigrated to Canada ??
Any help would be very much appreciated

He appears to have migrated in 1906:

I'm not having much luck finding him in either the 1911 census or the WWI records in Canada.

This looks like the same man in the 1911 census ... indexed as Rason on this free website but the image loks like Bason to me.
