I obtained a written out copy of a death certificate a couple of years ago are the original images available from anywhere or are copied out certificates only available?

I don't know specifically about Manx certificates, but very many Register Offices either have in the past or still do provide hand-written copies of certificates
Not all offices have facilities to provide photocopies of the certificate.

The original of death & birth certificates are in the Register and not available for viewing anywhere

In the case of marriage certificates the original was kept at the Church where the marriage took place (and may now be at the local Record Office)
A copy of the original was sent to the Register Office and a copy of this copy was sent to GRO

But not with Isle of Man certificates, which are held at The Civil Registry, Douglas! ;D

Thanks for the feedback. The Manx Civil Registry issue hand-written death certificates I was wondering if anyone had an alternative source that provided the original images.
