Two births showing for an Alexander Munn in the broad timescale - both 1934
one Gorbals and one Camlachie.

Have you looked at either of these certs?

Was he the Alexander Munn who died Inverness in 1992?  If so, the chances are that the Munn/Chittick marriage could be his parents.

added - just quoting your earlier post on Alexander Munn:

sorry forgot to put that in i think it would be somewhere in the 1950s to very early 1990s as i know he died in 1992 hope that helps

and my earlier post ,above:

If he was the one who died in 1992 (from a previous post) , he would have been born circa 1934. Other name mentioned is Chittick.

Hello - anyone there   ;D

You've not commented on the 1992 death although you've been on the site a few times since I posted but I'll add this to what I've found  just  in case......

You mention Mead:

Margaret Gray Chittick who married William Munn in 1931 (aged 17 - thus born around 1915)  appears to have died in Glasgow in 1966, aged 52 (thus born around 1914). Other name recorded was Mead.

It looks as if Margaret Gray Chittick remarried  to a Joseph Mead in 1952, Possilpark.

I've not found the death of a William Munn so far*. He would have been born around 1911 from the marriage entry. However, given that his father is recorded as Alexander Munn, I would suggest that this couple are the most likely parents of your Alexander Munn.

*Added -

There's this possible death for William Munn

Army Roll of Honour
Death - 24th December 1940,  UK
Rifleman William Munn,  The Cameronians
Born  - Lanarkshire
Residence - Lanarkshire

Further to my findings, above:

Parents of William Munn were Alexander Munn and Mary O'Brien who married Blythswood in 1903
Parents of Margaret Gray Chittick were Gavin Chittick and Annie McGill who married Camlachie in 1908

Note that there is a tree on Ancestry (Michael) which includes Alexander Munn. There is little on it but it does show Alexander being born 4 Feb 1934 in Glasgow and dying in Inverness. Father is shown as William Munn (b. 19 Dec 1910, Glasgow; married 18 Dec 1931, Glasgow; d. 3 Feb 1952 , Glasgow). The 1952 death doesn't easily show on SP. The marriage date is the same as the one I found with Margaret Gray Chittick. Further, the tree shows that William's parents are the ones given above.

The death date might have been estimated from the second marriage date of Margaret Chittick to Joseph Mead in 1952.

Online trees should be treated with caution but the information given does tie in with my findings.

So from what I know

William Munn and Margret Chittick had three children together.
Alexander, Anne and Janette

I'm not sure on dates of births yet but my family are doing research into it 😊
