??? Cusack5239  ??? Please can you tell me what information i have sent on my Casey ancestors, it must have been a long time ago, its my relative up in Glasgow who has most documents on our ancestors, as i have stated some time ago i was in contact with Fr Solanus's cousin Sr Anne, it was she who put me in touch with her relative in Dublin, my relative sent her all documents he had on our ancestors, she told me she could find no connection between any of the Casey families.
So my search on finding any other children from my g g g g grandparents marriage goes on.

Thank you for the expert information.

I know that there is a Bernard Casey from Drummully, near where Fr Casey's family is from.

:) I'm no expert on my Casey ancestory, cant believe my g g g g grandparents Michael Casey and Bridget Comaskey Casey had only one child, Bernard, its possible i know, just hoping that thier are others out there decended from my g g g g grandparents. Do you know who this Bernard Casey you mentioned married. I live on the north east coast of England, my g g grandparents eventualy settled in the town i was born in Stockton on Tees, they were James Casey  & Mary Ann O'Brien Casey, a big Irish community came to Stockton to work in the foundries and ship building, my g g grandad James was a pudler of iron, strange thing when my g g g grandparents left Ireland during the 1840s and settled in Glasgow some of Bernards relatives from his mothers side went with them, it seems strong family ties remained very very strong right up to 1900, where ever my g g grandad worked in the iron works a Comaskey was close by, they even turned up in Stockton on Tees. :) :D ;)

Thank you. Br Leo, the vice postulator for the cause of canonization is interested in the Casey genealogy. He has scant information from Ireland.

I'm wondering if it were not Bernard James Casey b1800-05 married twice m1823 and after a death again  m1824?

I don't know much about the Caseys so far. Br Leo wrote those details I posted.

Links to Casey's

:) Hi looking for links to Casey ancestors who lived in Co Monaghan,
Bridget Comaskey married Michael Casey on or before 1800,
only child found from thier marriage Bernard Casey born 1800-05,
Bernard Casey married Elizabeth McDade { McDaide } 1824 Co Monaghan,
they had 10 children all born same county.

Bernard & Elizabeth & 10 children all left Ireland and settled in Glasgow, with them came Bernards 2nd cousins from Comaskey family.

Its a long shot i know but i'm hoping other Casey or associated family decendents can connect to this,
all the best Derek :) :D ;)

I've merged your latest post with the existing thread. Please do not keep starting new topics for the same family- if you have something useful to add then do so on this topic rather than creating another new one.
