ah I have found the list passengers leaving and william is on the list as well as John Pascoe, so I have the right people.  Don't hold your breath though!

Which passenger list and what year was it please ?

Here is John Curtis in Negaunee. Michigan in 1910 with the Symons family, says he immigrated 1901

Selina went on to marry someone by the surname Allen, in Michigan.....can anyone find out his first name and date of wedding?

wow, love that shortlink, that's great, you learn something new every day!

the list with William and John is all the same passenger list for the Saint Louis entering Ellis Island in 1907, I found a link in Google to the passengers leaving, don't have it open now, so not sure where it was.

did I break the rules again, I'm always doing it by accident... sorry if I did  :(

John Pascoe 19 years Miner. Selina Curtis 37 years wife, Lottie Venton aged 18 years, William Venton aged 13 years child and Katie born 1897 child aged 10 years.
Names brother of James Pascoe which I can't read very well  ??? of Coats Lane Redrose. England. All going to a friend John Curtis, Barn Street, Negaunee.

Hmmm. so John Curtis was already in Michigan.

The obit says he arrived in 1898 but can't find him yet, have to go now so will leave it to the experts to carry on....

John was in Cornwall on the 1901 UK Census but here is a New York Passenger List - John Curtis. born 1862  and aged 42 years. Miner. Last residence:- Redruth. Had $25.
Port of Departure: Southampton to New York, arriving 12 September 1904 on the Germanic
Going to Negaunee. Father-in-law :- Nicholas Pascoe. Negaunee. Michigan.
