Noticed there is a discrepancy in dates for Registration of death, 1974 and Cremation , 1973.

Deaths Dec 1931
Tucker Bertha G
Age 52
Edmonton
3a/670

From her age at death it seems BERTHA G. was an older mother when she had VICTOR.

I do not see any previous or subsequent births to this couple in UK

The inscription shown by ennael lists VICTOR as ex-army and it would seem to be a Services sponsored plaque. I am not able to see any Australian Army records for him (and WW2 was well over before his arrival here) so can only assume the service was with the British forces.

The Electoral Roll for 1980 shows VICTOR and MARJORIE still at BentleighOakleigh, Victoria.
There are two others of the surname TUCKER at the address.

The address-21 Gowrie Street Oakleigh Sth.
Victor is a salesman and Marjorie is carrying out Home Duties.
Will PM the details of the other two.

Good heavens!!! Thank you all so much.

I am trying to get my head around the messages and will look at it later tonight.
My knowledge of Australian geography  is dreadful Does this mean I may have living relatives over there?

I come from a dysfunctional and secretive family and only found out I had a half brother and sister two years ago via Ancestry. Trying to work my family out has been an uphill battle all the way. I would LOVE to track living relatives.

Hi, how can I access the australian records cited above? Do I have to upgrade my ancestry account or is there a more economic way bearing in mind I am only tracing one line of my family and it may not show me the records I need?
For example, how do I get the details from the inquest etc? Is there any way to track living relatives in Australia, like the salvation army over here ???

Thanks so much for your kind assistance, you have been extremely helpful
