;D Could anyone help find a place of birth i have Thomas Hyde born 1777 Ashton under Lyne /stalybridge christened 16Th February old st George church stalybridge Cheshire.
Father Thomas Hyde mother Martha. The marriage of the mother and father, Martha Kensal and  Thomas Hyde 24Th January 1773 Ashton Under Lyne i want to know the date of birth of the father Thomas and if he had any brothers or sisters?

Hello thanks very much for that.It is possible that is Thomas i have found baptisms for James,Mary,Henry,and Thomas they are all at old st George's church Stalybridge Cheshire
Also found a death for a Martha in 1787 no death for a Thomas though.
Found thomas junior in the 1851 census living at 150 Avon st Stalybridge Cheshire.
 I have found the baptism of Thomas born 1777 it says son of Thomas Hyde Joiner and Martha mother its so confusing though the further down the generations you go how can you be 100% sure its them has you have no census forms to go on ?

Hello I'm back, I found Thomas Hyde burial 1825 old st George's church stalybridge cheshire age 73 it says birth 1752 ish. I think the records of this church for this year are held at Manchester think a trip there it will have to be  :)
