Hi,

I would be ever so grateful if anyone out there is planning a visit to Edinburgh to look up an RCE for me or if anyone has access to these records.

My great grandfather, Robert Campbell McKie died 8th Jan 1944 at Killearn Hospital, Stirlingshire as a result of a road accident. According to his death cert his cause of death was "cerebral laceration & haemorrhage". The death was registered on the 14th January 1944 at Killearn. He was married to Margaret McCracken and his usual residence was Bigaird Cottage, Castle Kennedy, Stranraer.

The RCE entry is Vol 1 page 90 on 3rd February 1944.

Any help in looking this entry up would be greatly appreciated.
