I can't see a marriage for Hannah to either Edward or Henry that I can link with the children's names. I even tried Anna and Ann. Do you know anything else about the family maybe the husbands' occupation or approximate birth dates for Rose Florence and Sarah Jane.

Hello all ....  :)

The more facts you can supply will hopefully help to sort the family out.

Do you have any of the family on other census? if Sarah Jane was born before the 1871 census where is she?
How do you know that Hannah was Hannah Williams... where was that information from?
It does seem strange that Hannah married two men called Jones?
Perhaps Hannah was married to someone else before she married Henry Jones? and that's why we can't find a marriage?

Here are the family in 1881 for anyone trying to work this one out....

1881 - RG11/Piece 1554/Folio 18/Page 29 - 2 Bristol St - Northampton All Saints. Northamptonshire
Henry Jones    34 - Brick Layers Lab - born Bedford
Hannah Jones    39 - born Derby
Edward Jones    7 - born Sheffield
Sarah J. Jones    12   born Derby......... it looks like it says 12, but is it a 2 and why would she not be listed above Edward?
Rose Jones    4 mths? born Northampton
