I know this is a longshot but I've just found the marriage of a Henry Jones to a Hannah Barker 2nd quarter of 1880 in Northhampton which would fit in with the place and birth of Rose so maybe Hannah had another marriage between the two Jones.

Will look now

I've found the birth of Sarah Jane 2nd quarter 1869 in Derby under the name Williams so now we know she is illegitimate. I've looked for a marriage for Hannah under the name Williams to a Barker and Jones but come up with nothing concrete and I've looked all round the county.

There is a possibility they may have been non-conformists. Which Church did Edward marry in it may just give us a clue.

I think I may have found Hannah on the 1851 census but I can't find her on the 1861 or Hannah with Sarah Jane on the 1871 under Williams or Jones. I even tried Barker.

The marriage at the Crescent Chapel, LLanllwehacain (but not sure I have spelt this as it's not very clear on the cert)  in the district of Newtown, in the county of Momgomery, Calvanistic Methodists. 21th Jan 1899. to a  Mary Jane Jones maiden name of Jones.
Jones, Thomas, Carr, McDougall, Tatlock, Naylor, Gordon, Brentnall, Parry, Brotherton.

I did find a marriage for a Henry Jones to a Hannah Williams that could maybe fit year-wise now we know Sarah Jane was a Williams..... but still not convinced because of Hannah's age and place.... although just because it has been transcribed as 21 doesn't mean she was? It may be useful if only to eliminate this marriage... :-\
