WW2 90th Company & 59th Company
« on: Sunday 17 June 12 21:25 BST (UK) »
Hi All,

I recieved my Granda's war records a few months ago and have managed to figure out what most of it means.

He joined in 43 and served in North West Europe until he was released in 48.

He served in the 90th Company until 46 and then trasnfered to 59th Company of the Royal Pioneer Corps.

The records don't report anything between 44 and 48 except his transfer to 59th company.

I have tried google searches and war history books but can't find these companies named anywhere.

Does anyone know how I can find what these companies were doing while he served?

Thanks
