Hi fellas - thanks for all your digging so far. As you have seen my family is not easy to trace, moving around and marrying at odd times. I will give you what info I have in the hope that a bit more turns up. I have applied for the birth certificate for William Parker (Dec 1/4 1850 in Stratford on Avon).
My direct line is to Edward Banning Parker, and I haven't been able to locate a baptism or birth certificate to confirm that the details I have are correct.
Henry's marr cert in 1868 shows them as both single, he as a hawker, his father as Joseph (labourer) and her father as William Banning (labourer) marr in Banbury. Witnesses are John Voss and Sarah Hatton) In the 1851 census Henry & Mary Ann are in Stratford on Avon, and have Ellen (15 born in Barrington), Caroline (12, b in Fens, Lincoln), Elizabeth (3 b Burford Glos) and William Henry (6mths b Stratford). There is also Mary Ann's brother Thomas (27 b Barrrington).
In Doddington Cambidge the 1841 census shows the family apparently living with the Paula family, with Caroline 4 and Henry 4mths, no sign of Ellen. The ages do have some anomolies.
In 1871 census Edward appears with Henry and Mary Ann near Liverpool
Where did the info with Eliza and Mary Ann come from.
Rather a long post but this is all the info I have to date. Thanks again for your help.
John
