Because the records are very scarce in Navan, i had to go to National library, and was able to get back to 1799..so definetly worth a try!

Would the church in Navan itself hold any records or would I definitely have to go to Dublin. I have two young kids and I am pregnant and working so time to get into the city is hard as you can imagine, but I am in Navan regular for my work so if I thought that St Mary's might have records I could go into them!

Navan was a help, but getting back before 1864 maybe a problem, due to records seemly been lost
