William Davies & Mary Edwards

How would I be able to see a copy of William Davies & Mary Edwards Marriage Registration.  They were married in St. Tydfil's Old Parish Church, Merthyr Tydfil, Wales,  on November 4th. 1836.  Not sure where to go to find this info.

Welcome to Rootschat! 

There is no registration as such as the date is before the start of civil registration in 1837. What you can get is a copy of the parish entry. It won't give ages, or names of fathers, but will say if they are of the parish and will have the names of 2 witnesses.

I can't see an entry on the date you mention, but there is a matching marriage on 4/11/1834.

Thank you so very much.  Sorry the date for the marriage for William Davies and Mary Edwards is Nov. 4, 1834, and not 1836.  I went to the site you posted and it says there is no image available.  How do I get a copy?  Thanks again.

Sorry, I didn't mean that FamilySearch has the image. You can get a copy from the record office in Cardiff
