The parents of Taran I do'nt have but I have this,

Taran Olsen (Jubraaten), was born in Hedalen [actually born on the Lindelien farm in Aadal, Buskerud] on October 21, 1837, where she was baptized and confirmed.  She came to this country in the summer of 1857 [with her widowed mother and four siblings, sjn] and made her home near Black Earth (Dane County) in Wisconsin.

Thanks to the info you were so awesome to find on Tharan I found another record of my own that lists Anne Olsdatter's farm as Fonhuseie I think or something close to that

I've been trying to find the migration record in the parish register but haven't so far, they may have left without registering. The problem is finding a link with Norby. Was Ole the only one to take this surname?
Will check in a bit to find where Anne was from when she got married.

There is also a Guri b 6 Feb 1846 bapt 7 Jun.

She's born on the same farm as Tharan.

No he wasn't Tharan took it as well but after she came here she married Halstein Iverson Norby, in the statement about their migration it stated they came over with thier widowed mother, I'm wondering if Anne remarried when she got here perhaps?

This is where I got the info on Tharan

It seems as though Tharan became a Nordby through marriage. It is unlikely that her sibs would have taken her married name unless being younger they were adopted, but seems unlikely. Apart from Tharan having a brother Ole Olsen what other evidence do you have for her being a sib of your ancestor?
