I think so - email the History Centre and ask.  They're very helpful.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.

Thank you, I didn't know about the Hull History Ctr - looks like a great place to start delving into the past.

If you're local it's well worth a visit.  I live nearby!  I have a feeling that the records you want are in Beverley (which is also well worth a visit).

:-\  I'm Hull sown and raised but transplanted to Australia a few years ago, last time I visited Hull was around 2008 but I didn't know about the ctr then nor was I thinking about growing my tree.   I've sent off an email asking if they offer any sort of search facility.  Lucky you!!

As I said, I'm nearby.  Use their online catalogue, and if I can help by ordering documents and having a look at them for you, I will.  Just ask.

Thank you, that's really very kind of you.  I'll take a look at their catalogue and see what develops.

Hi,

Just replied on your other thread regarding the Hornsea area- most of (if not all) the church parish records for Hull are definately held at the Treasure House in Beverley - most of the parish records can be viewed on fiche, and if the fiche is difficult to read, you can order the original record books to have a look at. They also have a fiche printer available to use, should you require an A4 copy of whats on the fiche. On my visits their I have taken quite a few copies for my records, very reasonably priced at 60p, has saved me a small fortune I otherwise would have spent at the GRO.

As per other thread if you require a lookup doing - just ask here.
