Tracing Family of Frank and Mary (nee Considine) RYAN of Kilmihil
« on: Tuesday 10 July 12 22:24 BST (UK) »
I've searched the Kilmihil website, the Clare Library, the 1901 and 1911 Census records, and Ancestry.com and paid a visit to the St. Michael's graveyard in Kilmihil and have reached a deadend.  I would deeply appreciate any guidance on tracing my Ryan family line.

Here's what I have been able to confirm using theses sources. Denis Ryan (1828-?) and Catherine O'Gorman (1823-1893) married in Kilmihil and had ten children: Denis (1849 - ?); Bridget (1851 - 1919); married Sinon Markham and Martin Carmody; John (1853 - ?); Pat (1854 - ?); William (1856 - 1925); emigrated to NY, married Bertha Abend and died there; Maria (1859 - 1918); married Thomas Callinan, moved to Kilrush, moved back to Kilmihil and died there; Tom (1860 - ?); Catherine (1861 - ?); emigrated to NY and died there; James (1864 - ?); Francis (1867 - 1918); ran a shop in Kilmihil, married Mary Considine and died there.

Frank Ryan and Mary Considine married in Kilmihil in 1896 and had four sons: Michael (1897 – 1936), Francis (1899 – 1905), Daniel (1901 – ?), and William (1902 – 1965). If anyone could help me uncover what happened to the Ryan sons, I would be very grateful.

Thanks in advance!
