Electoral Roll

I am looking for information on when a
Mr W Roberts lived at 14 Rhyd-yDyed, Sketty Green, Swansea.

He would be living there prior to 1978 and I would like to find out his Christian name, when he lived there and also if there were others living there in the house with him at any time.

How would I go about finding out? Is there a web site with the electoral rolls I could look at for the 1960's & 1970's?

(The person I am looking for is not alive now.)

His name was in an old address book and I believe he will be a lead to other relatives.

I think that you get a limited amount of free credits when you first register, but then have to pay.

I don't know Judy, - you'd have to take a look.

I did find this on there though:

Your other route is to email Swansea Library, and ask if they could do a Look-up on the 1978 Electoral Rolls for you...

Thanks again. Yes I did take a look but the  results which came up were all within the last few years.

But I think your other idea is a good one to try too.

I had a quick look on-line Bernard, - (I'm in Hertfordshire) and this Link shows all of the Electoral Rolls held at Swansea Central Library:

Much more than I was expecting! I can't see anything on there about charges...perhaps it depends on how many Look-ups are required?
