There are a number of townlands in Co. Laois with the names you mentioned

Raheen in Kyle civil parish, near Rathdowney
also Raheen Upper and Lower nearby
Raheen in Kilteale civil parish, near Mountmellick
Raheen in Clonenagh & Clonagheen civil parish,

and

Rahin in Killabban civil parish near Athy

Does the death cert mention a registration district and sub-district ?
This can help narrow down which of these it might be...

The townland named Rahin is adjacent to Ballylynan town, as it named on the historic maps and townland database - so that seems to fit. Part of the main street of the town is actually in Rahin townland.

There's an RC church in the town, but it' doesn't have a graveyard beside it..

Update : I see a graveyard nearby on more recent maps - dont know the name of it but it's a short distance (c300m) north west of the church.

There is also a 'Raheen' near The Heath, Portlaoise.

Good wishes,
