James Telfer resided Holywell

I am looking for information on a James Telfer born 1894, who married a Galdys Williams (born 1898) in 1926 at Holywell.  I believe he died in 1942, aged 48, at Hoywell.

I am about to order certificates, but I just wondered if there were any other information available.

You need certificates to identify which James telfer it is who married Gladys??

Marriage cert should give Father's name and occ -and witnesses may be family members

There are 3 james Telfers of abt correct age  on 1901 census
One b. Beadnell Northumberland
one in Haltwhistle Northumberland
one in Melbourne Australia

There are a few Military records for James Telfer - there are also some James telfer b Ireland


Unless you have more information it is best to wait for certificates
