Re: Jane Birch and Sutton's of Earl's Barton

Just to say that John Sutton and Charlotte (nee Knight) are also my gggg grandparents and my family are descendants of their son (Pearcey's brother) Seymour Sutton (b.1845 not to be confused with other Seymour's in family).

Have already looked a bit at George and Barbara (nee Willis) but not at their descendants.
They moved to Bugbrooke and lived with Samuel Sutton (b.1829) but not sure where Samuel fits in? Think perhaps George and John's paternal uncle?

If you want to compare notes, we have already looked back into George's and John's ancestors a few more generations.

Hello,

I've sent you a PM so we can talk more about our shared ancestors.

George and Barbara moved to Nether Heyford after the birth of their first child and had many more chaildren including my grandfather Arthur William. George worked for the railway and they lived there for about twenty years before moving to Wolverton where their youngest child was born.

After Barbara died George remarried.

George and Barbara are buried in Wolverton cemetrery.

Methinks I may be buying a death cert to find out why Mr and Mrs Birch died in the same quarter.

I decided to treat myself to copies of the death certificates a few weeks ago and thought I'd post the info here to complete the sad story.

Pearce Birch died at Earls Barton 8th April age 29, cause of death Phthisis and pnuemonia.
Husband Thomas, a shoe closer aged 25, died at Knox Road in Wellingborough on 18th April, cause of death Phthisis 3 years and pnuemonia.
