I am sorry to disagree, but the 1901 image I am currently looking at actually shows the household of H Kullmer at Wilbertree  (Mudgee, etc) comprised one male and one female.

Thanks for your response and your findings.

The fact that Annie H is Annie Henrietta adds more intrigue to my query.

A Henriette Pfeiffer came out with her parents on the Vesta in 1856 but I haven't been able to find anything about her after the arrival maybe this was her!

On Anna Rosina Pfeiffer's death certificate in 1914 Henriette is noted as deceased by the informant but this could also be incorrect.

I think I need to get a copy of the marriage transcription for Annie H Pfieffer & Richard Hamment.

The Cascade street address in 1913 for Henrietta Hamment looks promising.

Thanks on the Kullmer information as well I'll follow this up.

Just in case  you haven't seen it PROV has the digitsed will of Anna PFEIFFER, widow of Wodonga, died 25 October, 1914. She leaves all to her daughter Mary Louise PFEIFFER who is living at David St, Albury when probate was granted in October, 1918, but in Wodonga at the time of her mother's death.  

Mary Louise states that she is a spinster and was born in Bloomberg South Australia, 17 February 1860 (there's a blob on the last digit but it looks as though it's a '0').  Anna had been resident in Wodonga for 50 years at the time of her death.  The estate consisted of a weatherboard house on a block of land in Wodonga.

Do you have info on the PFEIFFER family?  TROVE has an obit for William Festo PFEIFFER, died June 1948 aged 91 (thus b abt 1857)  which states that he was born aboard the ship Festo which was binging his parents from Poland. When he was 3 the family travelled from South Australia to Wodonga by bullock dray.

Thanks for the info on Anna Pfeiffer's will, Mary Louise Pfeiffer never married and eventually moved to Sydney probably after the Will had been settled in 1918.

I had found the Trove obit for William Festo Pfeiffer, he had been born on the Vesta and lived at Bethanga not far from Wodonga, he was the informant on Anna Rosina Pfeiffer's death certificate.

The Pfeiffers came overland from Adelaide via Mount Gambier.
