Many thanks Alan, you are quite right,I do have a  big task ahead, particularly since I am trying to trace who my grandfather was .,ie, father of Jane Helens child (my father). I suspect my fathers birth in 1907 was possibly the result of a liason while she was the school mistress at Llantrisant, head of that small school in 1896. I suspect this caused great shame/upheaval at that time.!

Hi,

Just a thought but one possible line is to consider is "Genes Reunited" to see if there are any other family members who may have some lost family details to share with you.

A quick look suggests there may be a contact and it could be worth your while to send them a message.

Y Genedl Cymreig (Caernarvon, Wales), Tuesday, October 3, 1893

This report is in Welsh but I think it reads.
September 30 at his home National School Llangefni, Robert Jones formerly of the
National Bank , Llundain (London)

There is no age given, and quite a few to choose from on BMD.
