Hello Heywood,
I get this information about the marriage in Enniscorthy.
Effectively, after marriage, John and Ursula went to Dorset, then to Jersey .
Ursula is a real enigma for me : impossible to find her birth (Ireland before 1864) and death is as complicated  :)

Many thanks for responding :)
Regards
Pat

Don't worry Carol, it's an excellent idea to look for a possible marriage, anyway.
So I'll try to continue that way because it seems quite logical  :)

Many thanks.
Pat

There is a St Helier baptism for a William Henry Taylor in 1902, father Alfred George, mother Edith Esther Brown so unfortunately that rules that one out.

Hi,
Her mother is mentioned to have died in Manchester in 1887, on her son's french marriage certificate (Edith's brothers went to France but nothing about Edit).
But I havent found this death.
She didn't appeared on 1891 census of St Hélier.
...

Do you know where and to whom the boys went to in France? could Edith have gone also and married or died there? John was younger than Edith when his father died.

For la grande-méthe and Allan,
unfortunately a wrong way.
I saw a Edith married to David DUVEY on Jersey 1911 census.
What questions me is that I don't find Ursula on any census after 1881.
If she was still alive and such a widow in 1893, in 1891 she must still be named "Chubb" and even her and John were separeted, we should find her somewhere...
