How do I manage without you.  I have sent Rosie down the wrong branch I thought she was called Charlotte Marshall.  This is my family I'm a bit stuck on Dave's at the moment.  Eileen

Sorry Eileen,

My typo - I`m going cross-eyed - the marriage should say Marshall not Mitchell - I got confused with your heading.

I will go and alter it.

Mo
PS I see in the 1861 census Charlotte has been enumerated as Charlotte Primus!!

Hi Eileen,

Are you sure she was Charlotte Marshall/Mitchell whatever?

I have a suspicion that she was Charlotte Fuller who may have married a John Timms in Hereford in June Quarter 1857.  John Timms has the reference 6a page 811.  Charlotte Fuller has the reference 6a Page 871 BUT the image looks more like 811.

You are a geneious.  I think you are right with the Charlotte Fuller.  The name Fuller keeps cropping up on census as a niece.  On the 1881 census she is recorded as Friller but on others it's Fuller.

Thanks for putting me back on the right track

Eileen

I have just checked the BMD again and James was registered at Hereford in June quarter of 1858 anyone know how to obtain cheap certs at £10.50 each it's a bit pricey.

I don't know where you are finding them at £10.50 but the GRO is the place to buy them   http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/  not a lot cheaper though.

Glad that Mo has found the right marriage for you, I wasn't happy with the one you had.  :)

Hello Rosie,

I love this site everyone so helpful.  Ordering certificates online is spot on at £9.25 including postage.  The price I got was from the actual registry office as it used to be cheaper and it was £10.50 including postage.

Now I have more information looks like another trip to the library to check the 1841 & 1851 census for Charlotte Fuller @ Hereford, (circa 1836/37) Charlotte Timms on the 1861 census in Hereford and 1901 & 1911 @ Salford. :D

You and Mo have helped me a lot thanks again

Eileen
