Ataclinabrire location- completed
« on: Friday 10 August 12 08:23 BST (UK) »
Hello All,
Can anyone tell me precisely where Ataclinabrire is? I know it is in Aghalurcher Parish, but have no idea where! Also, approx what is the mileage between Ataclinabrire & Brookeborough, please?
I've struggled to find any maps that help.
Cheers,
Bob

Hi Bob,
I wonder if the spelling should be ATTYCLANNABRYAN. It is in Aghalurcher parish.

I'm sure you're right, kingkerswell.
Any idea of where it is precisely?
Thanks,
Bob

Sorry, no, other than it is in the parish. Cannot find it on any map which I have access to but I'm sure that someone will know.

As the crow flies, it’s about 6 miles south east of Brookborough. It’s just to the west of the un-numbered road between Fivemiletown and Derrynawilt Cross. You can find it easily enough on the maps linked to Griffiths Valuation. 11 households were listed there in 1862.
