Edley Rendell

Looking for any information on Edley Rendell (Rendall) Born Guernsey 1863.  The last info I have on him is living at Hawkchurch Dorset in 1881 census.

I think I may have found him on the 1891 census mistranscribed as Hedley:-

John Kobbins, 42, Mechanical Engineer, Born Dover, Kent
Charlotte Kobbins, 37, Born Guernsey
Amelia M Kobbins, 7, Born Bromley, Kent
Arthur C Kobbins, 4, Born Croydon, Surrey
Hedley Rendell, Visitor, 27, Clerk (commercial) Born Guernsey
Living at 6 Parsons? Road, Croydon, Surrey       RG12/593

From the 1901..........according to this transcription he was born in Germany, but it is quite clearly written Guernsey:-

Hedley J Rendell, 37, ? Dealers Manager, Born Guernsey
Mary Rendell, 37, Born Clerkenwell, London
Delia Nina Rendell, 6, Born Holloway, London
Hedley J Rendell, 4, Born Kings Cross, London
Henry L Rendell, 3, Born St Clement Danes, London
Charlotte Robbins, Sister, 46, Born Guernsey
Arthur C Robbins, Nephew, 13, Born Croydon, Surrey

Living at Newcastle Street, St Clement Danes, London    RG13/243

It appears as if the Kobbins family were in fact the Robbins family - Edley's sister and her husband etc.

I have to say that as I read the thread my first thought was that Kobbins was a mis trans which should have been Robbins so thanks Ryan for saving me a job of checking(too nosy for my own good  )
