Allington registers c1759

I have found a marriage in IGI which gives the parish as Allington and the date as plain 1759.  In the new way of things in the IGI this might mean that it is not a transcribed record but one submitted to them.
Is there anyone out there with knowledge of the registers who could tell me where to go for a check on this information, please?

They have the 1538-1812 Dorset parish records on Anc....y, have you checked there?

Can't find the marriage in the Dorset PRs, however there is a tree on Anc....y with that marriage on.
