cap badge
« on: Wednesday 15 August 12 20:39 BST (UK) »
Hi
I wonder if anyone can help with identifying a cap badge (not too sure how to upload it). I have been researching this on and off for a couple of years. I am having one more go at it! I can't make the badge any bigger as I do not have the original picture.

I think it is the badge of the 27th Winnipeg Battalion, the pic was taken in WW1 and is of my great grandfather.

Any thoughts, greatly appreciated.
Amanda

The problem I have is that I am not too sure which papers relate to my great grandfather. There is a Harry Walker, who served with the 27th Winnipeg Battalion - so I am trying to confirm that the cap badge is actually the 27th. I realise it is incredibly difficult to see, but thought an expert pair or eyes might help!

Thanks for looking
