1851 Lookup, Ledbury

I'd really appreciate the following chap being looked for on the 1851 census please. 

BARNABY TREHERNE

He was born around 1812, in Ledbury, Herefordshire.

In 1861, he is in Ledbury with wife and children (although I can't find a marriage at all - may have been fibbing as she is a lot younger)

His wife, Ann would have only been 15 in 1851 so he won't be married to her.

I'm very curious to know who he is with.

Hi Helen,

Have checked on the 1851 name index for Herefordshire and there is no Barnaby Treherne, also looked under the variations of Trehern and Trehearn with no luck

I've just realised from the 1861 census that Barnaby was in the Navy so that might be the reason why he can't be found.

Barnaby Treherne was my great great grandfather. He was born in 1812 and died in 1881. His first wife was Mary Mears who he married in 1836. His second wife was Eliza Griffiths, b. 1824, who died in 1855 shortly after giving birth to my great grandfather Rueben Oliver Treherne. Two years later in 1857 Barnaby married Ann Clarke b.1837, d.1897. Barnaby was a marine 3rd class and served on the HMS Vanguard from 1840.

Thanks so much for your reply. I didn't have Barnaby's first marriage. I'm not related to Barnaby but have been doing the tree for my uncle. He descends from Barnaby's third marriage.
