Will - early 1600's COMPLETED xx
« on: Saturday 18 August 12 10:09 BST (UK) »
I'm missing just a couple of words from this will and would appreciate your thought on what these words/amount are.

Line 1: the word looks like it should be "after" but there's too many letters

Line 2: I know it's an amount of money, probably  ... shillings but as elsewhere in the will the words are written as "twentie shillings" I'm a bit confused about this amount.

Line 3: He's leaving an amount of money to the poor of the local church. Is this 10shillings?

Thank you for any assistance

Thanks newburychap

The context was:
"All the rest of my moveables goods and chattells not in this my will  ........ after my debts and funeral charges discharged I give and bequeath unto ... "

I initially wrote "expressed" then changed my mind as I didn't think it made sense so thanks for the confirmation.

Thanks for the amounts as well - I've not seen 12d written that way so it's good to learn something new.

Very kind of you to help  :-*
