Swinnerton Marriage

Hi There,

I am looking for the marriage details of a Reuben Swinnerton
to a Mary Wall in 1838 Bridgenorth Shropshire. They went on
to have seven known children in the Stourbridge area.
Any info would be most welcome.

According to Familysearch and Freebmd the marriage took place 30th April 1845 at St Leonard's, Brignorth, Shropshire. Maybe it would be worth sending for the marriage certificate.

Reuben SWINNERTON, of full age, bachelor, Labourer, of Whitburn Place [Bridgnorth] Father = John SWINNERTON, a Labourer.
to
Mary WALL, -, -, -, of Whitburn Place [Bridgnorth] Father = Joseph WALL, a Shoemaker.

Witnesses = The mark of Frederick SWINNERTON. Elizabeth ...day?
Reuben made his mark. Mary signed.

If of any interest to you;
Frederick SWINNERTON, son of John SWINNERTON, a Labourer, married Annie PALMER in Bridgnorth in Dec 1860.

Any information is most welcome. This has filled in some
of the spaces on this family tree.  Have you seen the
originals or are they transcribed?

I am looking closely for the father of the two that you
have mentioned. John Swinnerton born Abt 1770;s
same area I suspect.

1861 census in Kingswinford - Reuben states he was born Bridgnorth 1815...so he was 31 when he married...do you have him on earlier census returns ?

Frederick Swinnerton christened 29th July 1823 in Oldbury ,Shrophshire...parents John Swinnerton and Isabella

Reubens daughter was named Isabella ...so this looks to be Reuben / Fredericks parents ..I`ll see if I can find their marriage
