John Smithies born about 1815

I am trying to find out more about John Smithies who was born in Lindley about 1814. His wife's name was Amelia or Emily but I can't find a marriage record for them.
Can anyone help with this or John's parents please?

Their daughter Elizabeth was aged 3 in 1841 and they were living in Huddersfield during that time.

Lindley is a suburb of Huddersfield nowadays and there is this birth on Familysearch.....

The above baptism mentioned by 'The Mc' is for a John Howe Smithies, father's occupation - Inn Keeper.

Thanks for all your help. The marriage looks very likely. The baptism is possible but it is 2 years later than the DOB mentioned in the censuses. I have found another possibility in the West Yorkshire Births and Baptisms of a John Smithies baptism 30 Oct 1814 in Gildersome son of James and Rachel.Isn't this in the right area too?

There is also a birth of 16 Jan 1811 baptism 17 March 1811 at Elland, father William Smithies, mother Betty.

Elland is 2-3 miles from Lindley.

If it wasn't for the fact that 1811 is even further from 1814 I'd quite like the Elland one. Mother called Betty and we know John's eldest child was Elizabeth.

Don't suppose we know anything about these potential fathers' occupations. We know John was a mason.
