Thomas Ticehurst 2nd marriage

Thomas married Sep 1837 Rye district - probably Brede. His bride was Mary Ann Drugate.
I have checked familysearch for Drugate name without success. A check of 1841/51 census returns the same result - nothing. Census show that Mary Ann was born abt 1812 Catsfield. Has there been a mistranscription or spelling mistake?

Yes could be a spelling mistake.

Birth certificates for any children they had would give mothers maiden name if you wanted to check further.
