Can any kind member help me learn more about Richard James McMurdo, his siblings & parents please.
Richard married a HARTLEY who I believe was most probably born Okain's Bay or Christchurch.  Through many searches I have found McMurdos may have lived in Dunedin, NZ & earlier in Dalry, Ayreshire, Scotland but am not at all sure if this is the aboves line.

Would be thrilled to hear from any member connected or any member who can help me in my search.

Hello Tiffaney...

The marriage you mentioned happened in the mid-1940's. Will PM you the details as it's within the 80-year-privacy marriage law.

If the children you've mentioned were born around the same time there is a definite possibility that they could still be living. I think to be safe you should remove their names before the moderators mention it.

Richard James Maxwell McMURDO is buried at Waimakariri but there is no mention of his wife. Nor is there a mention of her on the BDM NZ Deaths website so, unless you know different, it may pay to remove her name too.
