World War I Draft Card
« on: Tuesday 04 September 12 09:01 BST (UK) »
Can anyone determine the writing on lines 2, 7 & 8 of this US Civil War Draft card.  I can partially make out some of the words.  Your help is appreciated.

Line 3 , date of birth April 4th 1887 If that is correct it is not US Civil War

Line 7 Probably means Acetylene Welder
Line 8 ? G Johnson & Co Liverpool,

James

Thanks for the info.  James you are correct.  This is not a Civil War Draft.  I've been working on some civil war stuff lately.  I inadvertantly put Civil War instead of WWI.
