Looking for John James born abt 1776 Church Eaton, Stafford and his wife Elizabeth born abt 1773 Burton Upon Trent.

Crumbs, thanks for that, so I have a few more people to find, who was Ann and when did he marry her, what happened to Elizabeth etc
A new line of my family that have just opened up after a long wait for confirmation on his daughters birth.

Ann Sharrat married his son also named John, so this must be a different Ann in 1841
