Edward's brother Phillip born 1861 immigrated 24 th May 1880 on the SS Egypt.

New York, New York, City Directory entries from 1888/89/92/1999/1902/3/6 show Phillip or Phillip C (think thats Phillip Charles)  Lockley

Thank you so much for your time and effort in searching for the 'Lockley' family.
I'm gradually working my way through it all.  The link to the newspaper articles are a very valuable asset to have.
It gives me a insight into some of their lives.....good and bad.
Yes this family did marry their cousins, I was not surprised by that find ....because further back in the family, one uncle married his older sister's daughter. :o

I just wanted to say thank you for the effort and research. I found this forum doing some research on Google as Harry L Lockley was my great grandfather.
