I am hoping to travel to North Wales in October to spend the day at Clywd Family Resource centre in Wrexham, I was wondering if anyone knew what resource centres I should go to look for parish records pre 1837 in
Festiniog
Llansaintfraid (Conwy)
LLandogget
Yspytty Ifan

The National Library in Aberystwyth has Bishops Transcripts for all of the areas and also some Parish Registers.

Ffestiniog would be Dolgellau and Conwy in Caernarfon but check their opening times

Simple marriage listings will be available for viewing at the Clwyd FHS Resource Centre for all of North Wales in what is known as the Hayes Marriage Index.

Something I forgot to mention.

A lot of North Wales records are now on http://www.findmypast.co.uk

Printing at some of the record offices can be expensive but are cheaper at the National Library.

Using the above web site can make it easier to find a record and, if you want a lot of images, the cheapest subscription might be worthwhile.

Thank you all for the pointers you have left in your messages... I didnt realise also that i am staying about 50 yrds away from Dolgellu records office which should hold alot of the Festiniog ones too    Planning to spend the day in wrexham on the saturday at the Clwyd FHS too.  Sorry for my tardy reply but couldnt access Rootschat yesterday as link was down but once again a big thank you.
