St Mary's parish church Morpeth
« on: Sunday 09 September 12 11:45 BST (UK) »
Hello

does anyone know where a map and grave index for this cemetery be obtained, I have tried wood horn who seemed to think they probably do not exist but since they are still burying people there I find that difficult to believe

regards

Hi Janis

The relative I am looking for died in 1892, his name was John Muir aged 13 years. So far most of my family have not had headstones (unless wooden). So MI are usually not helpful but you never know

 :)

I'm sure the parish office have the information.  One of our Australian rootschatters called in there on his visit earlier in the year.  He says they were very helpful.
