I have photographed virtually all the war graves on the Wirral and a lot of private memorials if you need anything else.

pte douglas terry didnt die of wounds,he was shot in the back at trones wood on 10th july 1916 but recovered from this wound,but in december 1916,he developed valvular heart disease,if this was his cause of death,then hes not entitled to CWGC status

hi mack, I have just got hold of his pension records, he was discharged 28/03/1917 , on the  13/08/1917  was awarded 100 per cent disablement,
  he died on the 11/09/1917  the gun shot was in his left of back,  I need someone to look over these records I am having a problem reading them,  tony

If it says anywhere on record VDH was attributable or made worse by Active Service then you should get a favourable result from MOD ...Death cert is the way forward

hiya tony.
i.ve had a read of his records,the condition wasnt caused by his wounding,but the doctors attributed it to the stress of active service+training,the medical board stated that his condition will get worse,you need to send his pension records off to the CWGC as well as the death cert when it arrives,i think you may have some success if they see both documents
BTW.its not the CWGC who decide if a soldier gets commemorated,they only submit his details to the MOD
